When and how did you become part of the company?
Indirectly, I started my relationship with PACONSA in 1984 when I met Mr. José Conesa, who was already loading strawberries in Huelva. At that time I was buying fruit for a canning company in Molina and we started a working relationship that continued once José Esteban, in 1988, took a step forward in the company. I still remember when the office in Lepe was a semi-trailer adapted as an office, where I spent almost every morning with José Esteban before I went to work helping him and answering the phone, as José Esteban was alone in Lepe. This relationship continued until 1997, as in September of that year I became part of this great company.
In your opinion, what qualities would you highlight about the company, and what do you think are the values that best define us?
There are many qualities, among them, for me, the one I would highlight is the human side towards the employees, and its greatest value are continuous improvement and dedication to work.
What do you think is our main strength?
Our strength lies in our own high standards and loyalty to our customers. Our greatest satisfaction is a job well done.
After 60 years: what are you most proud of?
To be part of the growth of this company, to see how year after year it surpasses itself and modestly to see that we are a reference at European level in the sector.
On a personal level, I am very proud to have had my son Rubén joining this great team 7 years ago and to have shared with him the culture of our company, which is committed to the younger generations and to strengthening the links between the company and the family.
Do you have any remarkable experiences or moments that you remember in a special way?
Many experiences, every day is a new experience. Special moments, the first day I started in the Molina office. We started with 11 people in traffic (departures-returns-national) and it was there where, thanks to José Esteban, I learned this wonderful profession.
