When and how did you become part of the company?
I started at Primafrio in July 2010, in the administration department as head of accounting and finance, together with Antonio Ruiz and José Sánchez.
In your opinion, what qualities would you highlight about the company, and what do you think are the values that best define us?
What I would highlight most about this company is its capacity for evolution and change, its non-conformism and drive to evolve and grow, first to be the leader in the sector and then to be a promoter and participant in this transformation that is taking place in the logistics sector.
As values, which define it would be:
Constancy, hard and continuous work towards a goal.
Passion, linked to the previous value, since this is nourished by the strength and energy to maintain the necessary perseverance on a daily basis.
Excellence, we are called upon to offer both customers and colleagues the best of ourselves, in order to become a benchmark company.
What do you think is our main strength?
As a strong point, despite the hackneyed concept, for me it is the people who make it up. In any organization, there are some fundamental pillars that support large entities, in some cases it is a great leader, but I believe that, in this one, together with this figure, it is based on a great team that supports it, at all levels, from the most basic to the top management. It is made up of incredible and extraordinary people who transmit these values and who inoculate those present and those to come with this culture.
After 60 years: what are you most proud of?
Sometimes, I do admire the company where I work, perhaps as a reflection of a society that values more these big companies that are growing in reputation and prestige, feeling that I am part, although very small, of this success, but other times I feel that things can be done better and that is what drives me to work to achieve it, so I feel that there are still many things to do and this is the best company to do it.
Do you have any remarkable experiences or moments that you remember in a special way?
There are many experiences, and of all kinds, endearing, funny and others not so much, but I’d go for the day-to-day shared with my colleagues in the past and today, with their personalities and quirks, the cheeky and irreverent humour of Santiago Gil, or Juanra’s satire, the stories of Paco Hernández, the advice of Antonio Ruiz, the values and honesty of Santiago López, the character of Ángel Luis, the discussions with Antonio Garre and the IT department, marathon days of systems implementation, auditing, inspections… that make a bond that goes beyond a working relationship.
I am not forgetting many others from the Foundation… which I hope Manolo and Loles have not revealed.
